The ENVIS Centre,
Manipur is running in the office of the Environment and Ecology
Wing, Department of Forest & Environment, Government of Manipur,
since 2004. The Centre works towards fulfillment of objectives of
ENVIS such as regular updation of website; dissemination of
environmental data/information on the allocated subject areas
through publication of Newsletters as well as through electronic
media; identification of information/data gaps in the specified
subject areas and action taken to fill the gaps; database creation
on Environmental Issues of the State being put on website focusing
on the database creation & management on status of Environment in
the State & its relevant issues as Ultimate Objective of the Centre. |
